Baguio: A Journey to Date

Baguio has been on my dream destination list for years now.I don't know when it's going to happen but I'm certain to use all the resources I can just to make it happen.

Yay! Came August 20! I couldn't contain the excitement. I felt like a kid again. ha-ha. Not to mention so many first's happened in this recently concluded trip. Mind you, after 26 years of existence, it's been my first to ride a plane!!! What a shame! ha-ha-ha.

So here's me striking a pose before boarding! hahaha

Second, it is my first to travel in Luzon; that's Manila and Baguio respectively. Third, traveling 7 gruesome hours on the road. How cool is that? Not cool at all! But hey that's the only way to get there! Alright, I rest my case. ٩(●̮̮̃•̃)۶ღ

Anyway, I and my friend boarded the plane of Cebu Pacific in the morning and arrived in Baguio late in the afternoon. As expected of a long journey, our stomach is rumbling and the only way to address that is to pig out. We thought of dropping by SM Baguio before heading to our hotel..

Here's a picture of SM Baguio's interior taken by my cousin Jaypee.

.....and some shops

A great view of the terraces

...and here's another shot.

After staying there, we went to check our hotel along Marcos Highway; dropped our bags and headed outside again. Not that tired, huh? lol. Oh well, we just wanted to make the most out of our 3-day vacation. Immediately, we rode a jeepney and drop off somewhere at Burnham Park. Why? Oh! Come on, we are girls and we came there to shop! ha-ha-ha. Both of us are budget trippers so we love the night market. I ended up buying sweatshirts and a jacket.

Bought these items at a reasonable price! =)
After some great shop, we strolled and decided to walk from Burnham Park to SM Baguio. If you are familiar with the place and how far is that, I know you will laugh at us. ha-ha. We tried to muster courage and kept on walking. Luckily, we found our way back. If not, cab to the rescue!  ha-ha-ha
We then bought some groceries, ate dinner, took photos of ourselves at the balcony, then went back to hotel
.

My friend Rizza at the balcony

.                                         ........and cheers to an awkward shot of me!! =))

So that's it for day 1.
